Pimples and Acne Treatment

Acne treatment procedure comprises of three phases:
Phase 1: Calming the skin
During this phase your acne prone skin is calmed with the application of creams and possibly pills that we subscribe. In this way the inflammation of the skin is brought under control. Henceforth we can move on to the next stage of the treatment. Sometimes lasers are used in order to tighten pores of your skin and to reduce the amount of oiliness.
Phase 2: Preventing new breakouts
In this stage the stickiness of the comedones is addressed with the help of creams and possibly pills that we prescribe. This also effectively clears the pores so that the chances of getting new pimples are negligible. This phase requires 2 – 3 months and sometimes even longer, but the results are profound.
Phase 3: Fixing the battleground
Once the new breakouts are successfully brought under control, our next task is to fix the damage done by acne. A serious of treatment is carried out to address this issue, it involves peels, creams, lasers to promote healing of scars, needle subcision and on rare instances pills. Even the old acne scars that have remained for years, can be improved once our series of treatments are carried out.
